"Culture lives and is preserved through the artistry and talent of those who embrace the culture at its core".  Hawaiians all have stories to tell, be it ancient history, modern day stories, or tales of a love lost or found. The music of these gifted entertainers enrich our lives and bring paradise to our hearts.

Susie Kagami started as a Hawaiian music groupie back in the early 2000s.  The sounds of Slack Key guitar and the beauty of the language drew her to what became her passion:  learning, sharing and perpetuating the culture of her native Hawaiian heritage with others.

Kagami started Hawaii Music Live in 2004 to help promote Hawaiian musicians and artists in Northern California, and touring with these entertainers has helped her build a loyal audience in return markets and a premier mailing list that now reaches enthusiastic fans in over seven states.  Through performance and cultural workshops, paradise now comes right to your neighborhood...without having to pack a suitcase or go through TSA to get on a plane. In this economy, a trip to paradise to your venue can mean the world.

HA, meaning "Breath of Life" in Hawaiian was formed as the management arm of Hawaii Music Live to expand specific artists into performance arts and jazz venues.  Through the years, our entertainers have been honored to grace the stages of some of the most amazing venues and audiences.
