Susie Kagami started as a Hawaiian music groupie back in the early 2000s.  The sounds of Slack Key guitar and the beauty of the language drew her to what became her passion:  learning, sharing and perpetuating the culture of her native Hawaiian heritage with others. 

Kagami started Hawaii Music Live in 2004 to help promote Hawaiian musicians and artists in Northern California, and touring with these entertainers has helped her build a loyal audience in return markets and a premier mailing list that now reaches enthusiastic fans in over seven states.  Through performance and cultural workshops, paradise now comes right to your neighborhood...without having to pack a suitcase or go through TSA to get on a plane.
